"Together working Towards a Flourishing Society" Directed by Cristina Miguel Mullen with assistant Dennis Go. Workshops designed to focus on Chinese contributions to Western society and to concentrate on painting as a tool for education and awareness. Thirty youth assistants came from Belmont High school, Marshall High school and Lincoln High school. Cesar Chavez St. and Broadway St. Los Angeles, CA. "Reclaiming Heritage", Exhibited portable murals, concentrating on issues pertaining to cultural leaders and heroes in the Compton community. Portable murals were painted in a summer workshop program with the students of Bunche Middle School in Compton. Sponsored by Totem Arts Community and People's CORE.
